Peru days 12-13: Tarapoto

Had continuous rain for most of today. Yesterday I added more species to my garden list including Grayish Saltator, Yellow-headed Cararca, Common Tody-Tyrant, Pale-legged Hornero, and Gilded Barbet.

Absolutely gorgeous pics! I especially like the first lizard pic and the swallowtail-like green-striped butterfly.

Surprising the ´swallowtail-like green-striped butterfly´ is actually a moth - frequently encountered mud-puddling along the stream and rivers here.
